Baobab Oil
Baobab oil is extracted from the seeds of baobab trees which are native to Africa. The seeds are cold pressed and the oil is rich in antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids.
Baobab oil can be used alone or mixed with your favorite moisturizer, cream, lotion, or conditioner. It does not leave a greasy feel or appearance as the oil absorbs easily into the skin and hair. Consistency is key for the best results.
Baobab oil has a rating of two on the comedogenic scale. Since everyone's skin is different, speak with your doctor before trying baobab oil. If you decide to try baobab oil, test a small patch of your skin to see if you might have an allergic reaction. If your skin reacts poorly to the patch test, or if your doctor advises you against the oil, do not use the oil. If you have nut allergies, consult your doctor before using baobab oil.
Baobab oil is for topical use only.
